Nikki Ace is a former elementary school teacher for almost a decade and her love for writing began when she initially became a full-time stay-at-home mom.  She lives in sunny Los Angeles, California with her husband of fourteen years and two children that she adores deeply. Nikki has published multiple books in various genres (children's picture books, Christian poetry books, self-help books, and a Black history book) but one major theme is always the same: PERSEVERANCE.  Her most recent book entitled 'The 400 Year Head Start: Yet Still Destined for Glory'  is an introduction to the Black experience here in America. It is designed to appeal to young audiences (12 years old and up).  There is no teaching American history without teaching Black History and this book is a timely and crucial resource for everyone to learn about the grit and dignity of Black people.
